- On-Call Requirements:
- Monday-Friday: 5:00 pm 8:00 am
- 24-hour on-call rotation for Saturday and Sunday
- Weekly call rotation; typically covers entire week if scheduled
- Patient Volume: Average of 8-11 cases per day, including a high volume of procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies
- Team Composition: Collaborate with 2 local IR physicians and an extensive support team; access to teleradiology services
- Setting: Level 3 Trauma Center with an annual ER volume of 55,000
Role Requirements:
- Board Certification in Interventional Radiology (AOBR or ABR) Required
- Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology Required
- Washington state license, or willingness to obtain it promptly Preferred
- ACLS certification or willingness to obtain Required
- Clean malpractice/license history Highly Preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (J1 or H1B visa candidates may apply)
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee procedures including:
- Angiography, CT and Ultrasound procedures
- Angioplasty and Stent Placement
- Chemoembolization, Embolization
- Aortic Aneurysm Endograft Stent, Needle Biopsy
- Thrombolysis, Kyphoplasty
- Primary patient demographics include adults, including both geriatric and adolescent populations
- Facility utilizes EPIC as the EMR system
